EAR WAX CLEANSING
By
Professional and
Experienced Practitioner
***Ear
candling has been prohibited by Canadian Health Department because of safety (it
has done by some unprofessional people), so from now, experienced natural
health doctors will be using the Ear Wax Flashing method which is much
safer and more professional.***
What is Ear Wax Cleansing?
It is thought
that the Egyptians were the first to invent the technique of ear candling,
not only for physically cleaning out the ears, but also for spiritual
cleansing as well. They believed that ear candling opened and cleared the
spirit centers and refreshed their auras.
Ear wax - or cerumen
- is produced in the outer part of the ear canal and is a cleansing mixture
of skin cells, fats, acids and antibodies.
Over
time as we age, heavy impacted wax collects in the ear that normal cleaning
cannot remove. Excessive amounts of debris can accumulate in the ear canal
over time. This buildup can create problems and can also reduce hearing.
Impacted wax can build up against ear ducts and can
block incoming sound waves. This accumulation may be responsible for some of
the hearing problems that are common to aging.
Everyone
makes ear wax:
Although
some people make more than others. Sweat glands inside the outer ear canal
produce it. If the wax dries out, as it tends to the older you are, then it
can block the canal especially if you're obsessively compulsive about
cleaning it with cotton tips.
Benefits of Ear Wax Cleansing
Wax is natural and
necessary but an excess of it
causes many problems. The primary reason for ear wax cleaning is the removal
of the excess ear wax which builds up. Other benefits may include clearing
the sinuses, reducing hearing problems such as ringing in the
ears, snoring, tightness in the neck, and infection; reliving
pressure, headache and sinusitis; mucus drainage, and glandular
and lymphatic release.
The exciting thing about
ear wax removing is that it may go beyond mere clearing of debris on
sensitive nerve endings. By contributing to better hearing and clearer vision
one may experience clarity of thinking and improved wellbeing. It can sharpen
the ear canal while facilitating nose and throat discharges that may open the
upper chakras for self-healing by increasing sensitivities in the area of
auricle and psychic perception. Also:
- There can often be such things
as sand, worms, bugs and seeds that come out of the ear during the ear
wax removing procedure. This is nothing to be alarmed about. These are
things picked up in everyday life.
- Not all ear problems are caused
by excessive wax build up.
Ear
Wax Cleansing method:
Using Wax Softener Drops
(special oil), and Flashing with warm water are the usual treatments. We
check your ear canal with a strong otoscope to see
how much wax accumulated in your ear.
And may ask you to drop some oil (mineral
or olive oil) into your each ear, 3-4 drops, 3 times a
day before treatment.
Most Natural Health Doctors remove earwax with an
especial irrigation syringe with a safe straight
nozzle. Then fill with warm water and hydrogen peroxide. We
only flash about 1 or 2 quarts of warm water into your ear canal. Your earwax
is softened and flushed out. The process feels gentle and refreshing.
Our syringe has a safety angled nozzle which puts
the tip at the beginning of your ear canal, about halfway to your eardrum.
The tip can't reach your eardrum. It leaves room for drainage. Your ear
canals are cleaned by the quick circulation of warm water. Your eardrums also
get cleaned. It feels gentle and refreshing. It removes all earwax build-up.
This is the easiest and most refreshing way to clean your
ears by your practitioner. You'll hear better and feel cleaner quickly.
Caution:
Don't clean your ear if you have a ruptured
eardrum or tympanostomy tube or ears that have
burning, bleeding, pus discharge, or pain. Please let know your practitioner
first.
